There is no difference in game file's just the wtf realm list, but the serial key might only allow you to authenticate to US servers.

Personally I'm waiting till I can order a CE copy from UK retailers. Fyi I ordered BC CE from Amazon.co.uk and for whatever reason it was delivered a good 5-6 hours after the BC servers went live. While friends who ordered from Play.com were receiving their copies a day before.
I've booked Thursday and Friday off. Let the race to 80 begin. I'm backing Lisa. :)

I preordered 5 TBC collector's editions last time.. ebayed them all like a cheeky mofo and made some good money
Thankfully my order was fulfilled because my auctions ended the night before I was due to get my CE preorder! (Which arrived the day before release  ) Else i'd have been making some swift paypal refunds :sBought my own signed copy of the CE at the HMV launch on Oxford St, London.

Nice Helen, what sort of profit did you make on the CE copies you ebay'd?
I saw a company (probably one-man band) selling a CE copy of WotlK on Amazon.com for $300 (£167).

I was selling them at peak for £150 - didn't have many, but scrounged a few from PC World. Was a nice little bonus and I kept back one for myself when I heard you got a lurky as well
Gutted I missed out on the CE of the original though, would have loved a mini diablo
