will they care to fix the hunter pet bg bug?, its a pretty big damn bug and has been here for quite a while.

No idea on the release date, just make sure you get it from a mirror like wowwiki and not the ****e p2p.

Which bug are you talking about? The one where the toolbar doesnt appear sometimes that's been around for ages, the one when your pet runs off and attacks miles away from the actual target, the fact that growl doesnt switch their focus to your pet even though fear works on you just fine, the fact that half the time your pet doesn't revive at all or you leave the bg with it on red even when it's supposed to spawn green, the fact that even when you can see a rogue he can still stun you in some giant combo untill your entirely dead and somehow ignore all of your stunning actions despite the fact that you can only ignore one of his? If I didn't know better I'm sure those guys are sitting there saying, "teehee, how far can we screw over hunters before they realise we are doing it on purpose?"

Not only all that, but when you feign death, you don't even get the chance to try and fool noobs cos it comes up in big yellow letters that you're doing it!

Current bugfixes for 2.3.3 are here: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patch...atchnotes.html

Nothing too fancy, although some people will be happy about the macro / castsequence fix.

Keep an eye on blue.cardplace.com or mmo-champion.com for when the patch hits

One bug I can think of is where you summon the pet and no control bar comes up... that's always fun

I'm going to try and get somone to upload the patches onto the Multiplay File Server so they can be downloaded quickly and no need for that slow p2p or waiting in ques.

Andyf try this for a bug.

Duel a rogue, both stealth next to each other so you can see him in stealth, target him, unstealth and 7-10 seconds later he'll be unstealthed.

There's also another bug where you can unstealth a rogue while sapped/gouged if you see him in stealth. Its all on the rogue forum.

Hi Folks, I've managed to get somone to upload two patches to the FileForge
  • WoW enGB v2.3.0 -> v2.3.2
  • WoW UK Patch Any 2.X.X version to v2.3

I'll try and get people to keep it upto date when a new patch is out

"I'd like to inform everyone that the issue with Stealth and Vanish breaking 5 seconds after sapping or breaking stealth has been identified and a fix is being worked on."

Apparently the stealth/vanish issue was hotfixed during realm maintenance:

Quote:
A hotfix for this issue was applied last night. It may not take effect until individual realms are restarted.
Outside of that, I was pleasantly surprised by this response re: Cheat Death

Quote:
I've looked into this issue. In order to assure that that a worse bug (which caused cheat death to not work at all) did not occur under specific timing circumstances Cheat Death will sometimes reduce damage by 99% instead of 90%.

Although technically this is a bug, it is not one that we can currently fix.
It's interesting because it's very much at odds with how they've handled Vanish and being hit as its casting. With Vanish, if a melee swing is in progress against you, it will connect and break vanish. That's the way the devs are going to leave it. But here to make sure cheat death always works as it should, they've left it so it can bug out and be MORE effective.

I've been a victim of the cheat death bug MANY times ¬_¬
(still doesn't stop me killing them though it's just annoying)

Mojo got hotfixed last night

Unfortunately I didn't have time to run my other alts/bank chars to get one, but I picked up the pet on both my priest and warrior.

FYI the bug was you could /kiss the NPC 'Prigmon' outside ZA and he would give you the Mojo pet. Any level char could get it. They have hotfixed it now, meaning you can only now get it in ZA using the hex wands.

Heh - Blizzard know how how to write a good bug!

Makes me wonder if the dev's don't just leave this stuff in to see who finds it. Probably gives them a good source of beta testers
