Lost: Season 6 Discussion ***SPOILERS***

Well folks here we are, it's been a long 6 year journey but the final season of Lost looms down upon us!

** UPDATE: The grand finale is going to be around from the early hours of MONDAY 24th May (showed in the states late Sunday night - the 23rd) - I guess they wanted to air it on a weekend. **

Lol, I have looked through some of the older theories we came up with, interesting stuff... There's one I have saved in a .DOC (not sure who wrote it... it's quite a long 'theory'! might have been me, maybe not?!...) Anyway still some of the oldest theories and questions haven't been answered!!... :@
But the incident guess is waaay off (this was before we knew there was a bomb etc,) and some stuff about Dharma predicting the future which i think is waay off lol...
I still wonder what happened to Walt??! (other than he grew up! haha)

Anyway so looking forward to this, I noticed the week before christmas SKY2 was doing an entire day of lost I think they showed back to back season 2 to 5. I need to watch s5 again from the start for a full recap.

I wonder if it will be on a wed again, iirc season 1 when it was first aired was on a Wed night ??

My set up was different to that, had primary (4-11), secondary (11-14) then college (14-16) with an optional sixth form (16-18)

Anyway to add my 2 cents...

I went to an infant and junior school under the same name on the same site (but 2 separate buildings and staff hierarchies etc).

Then went to secondary (11-16) then Sixth Form college (16-18)

OH GOD I CANT WAIT FOR LOST.

I just been looking at some of the known titles for next season... Interesting clues?...
EP01&02
LA X is obviously gonna be set around Los Angeles airport, but in 2004?, 2007? or 1974?! (Dates not accurate, they started in 2004, I think their "real-time" is now 2007?? and they got stuck in 1974?)
What was the end of the last episode... Juliete and the bomb apparently going off right? (or time travelling again?), so how do we get to an airport from a nuclear explosion ? Unless it IS time travel when the bomb goes off...
Maybe they just all go back to before the boarded the plane?!... Or even earlier (to a bad time in their life?!) seeing as the next episode (EP03) is called what Kate does (wee already saw what Kate did in series 2...(murdering her stepdad in a house fire)) Maybe she gets a chance to change this now?... We'll see...

Next 2 episodes (EP04&05) "The Substitute" & "Lighthouse" nothing springs to mind on this.... Any ideas?

EP06 Sundown - possible Sun dies?...(I hope not, I like Sun... )

EP07 Dr. Linus - Now I think this is probably about Ben's dad (only a cleaner on the island though I recall?!) Maybe he was better before... Surely Ben himself cannot become a Dr?... Or is he... Hmmmmm ....

EP08 - No idea! You?

And finally EP09 "Ab Aeterno"(Meaning "Since the begining of Time" - Surely this episode will fill us in some more on Jacob and "Esau" (as we've been calling him, I don't think the identity of the 2nd "Ancient Man" person has been confirmed??) - I believe that these 2 are fundamental to the entire story line, affecting the Losties, and countless others for that matter all throughout history. Perhaps they are the source of the Islands power and gave it the ability to "Move" Also, the Island movement needs to be explained more....as the Chewbacca defense puts it..."it Just doesn't make sense!!" lol Should be an interesting history lesson this episode anyway!!

Episode names have always been okay - just not the plot summary.

Reason being is Lost titles are usually extremely clever and end up being about something entirely opposite than you expect.

It's also pretty unavoidable - you go to Lostpedia and it tells you on the front page the name of the next episode to air.

Synopsis are avoidable, episode names not so much.

It's also fun to theorise where they're going with a title as it's by no means explicit, unlike the blurb about the upcoming episode.
