When the pickup is about to start, the bot will write your nickname in the channel.
If you enable highlighting you can hear a beep when someone writes your nickname. This way it's less likely that you forget to show up for a pickup. This guide is made for mIRC 6.31 but will also work in some older and newer versions. If you have an older version, look at my first reply in this thread. How to enable Highlighting Open mIRC In the menu bar click Tools and Address Book ![]() Click the Highlight tab (if it's not there, look at my reply to this post). Enable highlighting. Then click Add. ![]() A dialog pops up. 1. In the text box at the top write a dollar sign and then me like this: $me 2. In the Color box choose a color you want for all lines that contain your nickname 3. Click one time on the "Play Sound" button. It will now show the word 'Beep' which means you hear a beep when someone writes your nickname 4. Enable "Flash Message" if you want mIRC to flash itself in the task bar when someone writes your nickname (only works when mIRC isn't the active window) 5. Click OK ![]() Now click OK again. You're done.

In some older versions of mIRC (like v6.21) there is no Highlight tab in the Address Book popup dialog.
Instead do this: In the menu bar click Tools and Options. Then navigate to IRC -> Highlight. The rest of the guide should be same.
