I think its about time to think about what games are going to be played at slan.

My list that i can think of off the top of my head,

L4D
COD4
COD4 Gungame
GRID
WORMS (Banana Bomb anyone)
UT 2K4
HL2DM
SOURCEFORTS
GTA IV

Go download the Action Half-Life 2 MOD.

Go and do it now.

We're planning on ArmA II as our LAN-killer.

Red orchestra is currently £3 on Steam so I've downloaded that as I've heard such astonishing things about it.

GTA IV would be good but did not look very LAN friendly.

If AH2 is essentially Action Quake 2 I'm in. If it doesn't involve slippers and a goddamn handcannon then I am not interested.

LOL Slippers / Handcannons + Nearby victim & standing at an open window (ideally on the 3rd floor). Action quake 2, awesome game.. Use to play it @ lunch time, we even modded it to keep running scores, each lunchtime battle was a smaller part of an epic war.

It is and it does

Its only in BETA so its a little buggy (esp server side) but on the whole very entertaining

I have no idea what to bring really. Wouldn't mind playing some AVP2 though, or Quake 3 CTF, or UT minigun instagib.

Personnaly I'm all for sitting outside drinking beer/pimms and enjoying good/passable/poor company.

Possibly with my guitar, composing songs for Stu.

Can you make sure the CS gungame has the files for turbo+DM still on it?

If you fancy obliging by putting the arma 2 dedicated server on there as well I'd appreciate it.

ArmaII installed and training complete(ish) for lots of coop action, and no doubt a lot of swearing.

Coming to a LAN near you, bvark shouting full volume as Deman runs him over in a tank.
