I got 2 for 5. I cant help but feel im losing out.

Though, i dont buy microwavable stuff, the stuff i got 2 for 5 is stuff you put in the oven.

Asda again, chicken fillets, wrapped in bacon, stuffed with cheese.

****ing lush they are.

But they're expensive. Unless you wait until they're almost out of date, and then buy them cheap

but I may be lazy, but I want DONT want to glow green from all the radiation that comes from all the McCrap Microwave sh!te, that I'm to lazy to buy from the super market, I want something FUN to make, with Microwaves you gotta stand around and be bored, or listen to sh!te thats on the radio.
And dont say Radio 1 is good during the day, cos I do not have that sense of humor, my humor is more evil and dry, I do NOT find day time radio 1 humorous, I find it a pain to listen to tbh

And that is why my little sister (16) and all her friends are starting to listen to Radio2 now. All Radio1 seems to play now is RnB, Rap and manufactured pop and even the younger generation are getting sick of it.

Since this thread is about food, I know a really easy meal to make. It does involve the use of a cooker though.

Spaghetti Bolognese.

Buy 500g/1lb of minced beef, 1 jar of 'original' Ragu and a small packet of short spaghetti.

Put meat in a pan and place it on a cooking hob on a medium to high heat.

Start to boil a kettle full of water.

Keep stirring the meat with a wooden spoon until the meat is all browned.

Once the kettle has boiled, pour water into another pan and add a small amount of salt.
Put half of the packet of spaghetti in the pan and place on another hob on medium heat. Stir occasionally.

By now the meat should be all browned, so pour off most of the liquid into the sink and add the contents of the jar of Ragu to the meat.

Place the pan with meat and Ragu back on the hob on medium heat, keep stirring until it is simmering. Turn down the heat to low.

Leave the meat to simmer for 5-10 mins.

Empty the pan with spaghetti through a collander and shake until most of the water has been shaken off. Empty spaghetti onto 2 plates.

By now the meat should be just about done. Spoon the meat bolognese equally onto the spaghetti on both plates.

There ya go. Spaghetti bolognese for two and it only cost about £2.75 in ingredients.

ive found that the tesco's microwave-able chicken tikka masala's are VERY nice

and these small mini pizza things from the chicago pizza company (or something) - come in boxes of 2, put 1 in microwave fo 3 minutes and its done. ive found these in my local co-op so its quite likely that theyre stocked in other, bigger places

or my personal favourite 'quick meal': ginsters conish pastie + muller rice

corky
