Deal hunting at iSeries

So, anyone got any experience of deal hunting for PC parts at iseries, any ideas who the exhibitors would be that'll offer something?

Specifically looking into graphics cards, and if all else fails I guess I can use OcUK to your desk, if I can haggle them down a bit

It's been an annoyance of mine for a while - most exhibitors only show off their shinies - they don't actually sell

I doubt you would be able to haggle a cheaper price from the likes of OCUK etc.

Is anyone on here able to confirm if OCUK are taking stock of Headsets, specifically the Logitech G35 and Razer Tiamat? I'm looking to buy a new headset but I'm unsure as which to buy and I was hoping I'd get to see them in the flesh before investing

Yeah I tried ringing them but it was just after 5pm and after hanging on a while nobody answered, I'll drop them another call tomorrow.

On a side note: anyone had any experience with either of these two headsets?
I'm currently using the Razer Megalodon but according to my teammates my mic is of a horrible quality

If it is the same as the last 2 I-series you can order at the event for delivery the same day if early enough or next day.

I can say the one person I knew who had the razer headset you mention sounded like he was swimming in sand on the mic.
Wasn't good.

I have the Tiamat Elite and they are lovely. OCUK delivered them to my desk at i47, with the promise that if I wasn't happy they would be refunded before the event closed - cant really complain with that sort of service!!

Yeah I heard they do same do delivery, they are only based 40 mins from the lan which is pretty cool.
