i37 Mini Surf comp?

Dunno why but i've been into surf stage maps recently and had the idea of making a little "unofficial" i37 competition.

5 maps, first person to the finish/whoever gets the furthest each map wins 5 beers that i'll provide.

Surf_Lore
Surf_Omnibus
Surf_Fruits
Surf_Animals
Surf_Vegetables

Not the hardest maps but I enjoy them and play them quite a bit (I wont be participating btw).

So yeah I thought it would be something fun to do sometime at the event...

I have a 32 slot server I wasn't using, so I've put the 5 maps on rotation on it, get practising if you like, and if your not attending the event then join for jokes (:

All the maps are installed here, so if you ask the CS:S red shirts at the event, they can set you up some Surf Servers

It's just a set of maps/server side configuration, nothing needed client side apart from having/downloading the maps.
Basically 'surf' objects to get to the end of the map and obliterate the other team

Hey mate,

I'll be a i37. Don't know if I'll be entering your tourney but a couple of friends are. Was just playing on the server and i noticed downloads are very slow. If you want, Ive got a website you can stick a FastDL on? Would just take 10 mins to setup.

Add me on steam if your interested.
