/me picks up the placard stating that and waves it high at the next smart car/coupe, only to have it try to run me over but I luckily dodge it because the owner just had a popup tent popup in his front seat, then he ironically crashes straight into a Audi sales office.

Honestly though id love to have a car like that but the 700cc engine would put me off far too quickly to buy it new.

Your father in law must have the only A8 estate in the world then as Audi haven't built one yet. I doubt that they will, the A8 has always been the flagship of the brand and it was designed to be a saloon.

Oh and the V40 is 1 of the smaller Volvo's.

Boot space was also a consideration in my lan mobile, I can fit my pc, chair, monitor in box, and all the other gubbins i routinely take with me in the back of my fiesta. :-)

oh must be an A6, either way the laguna is longer, has more boot space, and even leg room in the back seats is more (also btw im not talking about the laguna Estate)

And the V40 is far from one of volvos smaller cars what a crock of ****, There are only really two others that have more cubic volume in boot space the V50 and V70 and even then its not that dramatic.

Ah the days of when a car was for transportation, what a silly thought.

Sure theres having a transportation car and/or a sports car but this is neither.

I think the solution is simple. Just gaffer tape the tent to the inside of the roof that way you utilise the inner space of your noddy smart car. The only risk is that the gaffer tape gives way whilst in the fast lane of the M42 causing you to crash and killing you instantly due to an unsecured base unit and monitor lodging themselves in the back of your head whilst simultaneously being suffocated by a pop tent. At least you might make it into the next Darwin awards.

Surely he's under more threat of becoming airborne if the tents taped to the roof (presumably sticking out to either side) and smash into a random bridge that the traffic cops have decided to play laser tag with cars from? =D
