It' s the same for 2142, Many clans will be interested so it's worth getting a fun one organised. I know my clan will most likely participate in a BF2 and 2142 fun tourny.

This proved to simply not be true at i32 and it took a hell of a time to get people to play in the tournament then when there was the potential of money

There was 11 clans last time for the BF tourney, not enough to even make it prizewinning. We expect a lot of clans to go from BF to either ETQW or FFOW, both of which we're hoping to announce tournaments for soon.

yes get a few servers going as you can see looking at the attendence list. i counted at least 12 teams cappable of starting a prize money tourney let alone a fun tourney.

there are 10 -RD- at least going so that gives us two teams.

consider doing it please.

well we used to be a battlefield 2 / battlefield 2142 clan but not we are a cod4 clan ( we have to move with the times ) but we still do play bf2/ bf2142 as well

we are playing a 2142 friendly vs 22sas this weekend

Just look at how many clans have signed up to the battlefield series just look at it and tell me there is enough clans cos in my eye there will be more.

boffbowsh is the tournament manager. What he says goes.

It was made very clear last lan that is was unlikely there will be another BF2/2142 tournament due to a lack of interest and the release of so many new games attracting sponsorship.

maybe you should have put it on the forum and advertising of i33 that you werent going to do a BF2 tourney, as the last lan i wasnt there as this is my first, there was nothing to say whether there would be or would not be a BF2 tourney so to disapoint 1/6 of your prepaid customers is a shame.

As previously stated, its not hard to run a fun tournament yourself. It was stated that last i-series was to be the last ever bf2/2142 tournament at an iseries i believe.

get a putty bracket uploaded to some webspace, job done. e.g http://putty.escentral.net/fo2/

As boff said, he'd give you some servers to use

I can't see whats stopping you really.
