Heatsink for a MIDI case

Hey guys,

As my old Titan Fenrir is getting pretty old now and its quite a hefty heatsink. I am ready for an upgrade.
Ideally to something a bit lighter and one which I don't have to fight with my G.Skill RAM. So just wanna ask what are your recommendations.

Its a Zalman Z9 Plus (midi ATX) case
Gigabyte .... well check my signature lol.

I would like a easy to fit, and not too obstructive CPU cooler. I will be buying from either Ebuyer or Novatech due to £0 delivery charge lol and a budget of £25-£45 (ideally £35).

So far I have my eyes on the Be Quite Dark rock & Shadow rock, Zalman CNPS10X, DeepCool Ice Warrior, Arctic Cooling Freezer i30. Mainly due to size and price.

Suggestions? or choices of above?

I have one of the Arctic Cooling Freezer Extremes on mine, I can (if thats your thing) OC my 2.8 to 3.4 and still keep it below 40 degrees at idle. One of the best 30 quid I ever spent.

It is but I'll be taking it back up to 4-4.5ghz. Hows it to fit and doe's It fight for RAM space?

I'm starting to look at the Antec Kuhler h2o 620 as its small, tidy and great air flow for the case

The fan unit just slots in between the cooling fins so its dead easy to install in tight spaces.



You cant really see it in those pics, but it is quite tall, its basically inline with the top edge of the PSU.

Ah see. Cheers for that bro. I'll let you know how it goes n if I get that or the liquid cooler. Luckily my PSU is bottom mounted so I'll have space overhead and already have 2 ceiling fans
