Heyho guys!!
I have managed to convince my father to give £150 for a GPU for my B'Day! I already know its the HD 6870 I will get BUT.... they range from £128.99-£155 I can get a normal one for 128-135 & get some better/extra RAM, money to a better PSU, maybe even an SSD or.... Get a overclocked OC version for 148. What would you do??? Yup ended up going for the XFX 6870 best bang for buck GPU atm used the money to get me another pair of Ripjaw RAM.
Plus its just lazy getting pre OCed gear!!! That takes all the fun out of tweeking our rigs!

I have a XFX PSU now which has a 5 year warranty. The GPU gets 2.... but what gamer keeps the same card for more that a year really lol!
Yup the ICEQ one doe's look COOL XD. The triple fanned Gigabyte is more my type though lol. But they are only cooler n with an extra 15mhz (I can do that myself) So daddy needs some new RAM!!

As I said I'm like a WoW addict who needs to check his mail lol!! I wouldn't sleep thinking about it n probs end up making a rash decision.
Cheers I'll keep an eye on the fans, but should be fine. I'll let you know when its all together n I've began tweaking. Using it with a z68 mobo & i5 2500k. So looking at around 4.2-4.6ghz

I don't think pre OC'd Graphics cards are worth it, the performance increase isn't worth the extra money, you could always wait a year or two, and get another card, a slap custom coolers on them both and overclock them like crazy. But that's just me. lol.
