BC2 repeating message on screen?

Hello,

This is my first time i have put a server online and i was wondering if anyone knows how i can have a repeating message over time on the server for the players to see, so people see the website of our clan etc..

I have seen other servers do it so i know its possible? but i just dont now how :P

In your pb/pbsv.cfg file (in clan forge CONFIG tab)

Example would be
pb_sv_task 50 980 admin.say "hello" all

numbers are initial delay and repeat times

I dont see a file named as you say, so that means il have to make it first?

Edit the pb/pbsv.cfg file.

120 is the number of seconds until the first messages is displayed once the server is started.

330 is the number of seconds until the messages repeated.

place you message between the " "
Add multiple messages by adding additional lines.

pb_sv_task 120 330 admin.yell "message1" 5000 all
pb_sv_task 120 330 admin.yell "message2" 5000 all
pb_sv_task 120 330 admin.yell "message3" 5000 all etc ....

place the ; symbol at the beginning of a line to disable it.
Restart the server for the changes to take effect.

To have messages show in the chat box in the top of your screen, replace the "admin.yell" with "admin.say" AND remove the "5000".

example: pb_sv_task 120 330 admin.say "86 Cheaters kicked by PBBANS from our server so far!" all

remember this goes into the pb/pbsv.cfg file.
Works great on our server with out any issue
