Server keeps crashing for 2 days now

We have had around 10 crashes in two days on BOTH our servers....

What the hell is going on MP?

If your seeing high crash rates please do let us know it could be a side effect of the new patch or it could be someones found another way to crash the servers.

Either way we need to get the logs to DICE so they can investigate.

Updating my ticket with every blaze & crash.
That means: 3 or 4 times a day...

The stability is worse than server R3 from November 2011!!!

I don't think this is due R36, as the beta server also crashes/ blazes at exactly the same time as the R36 servers do. This beta has not been patched with the R36 crash countermeasures.
This looks like a deliberate attack with bufferoverflow or DDOS.

If this continues, this game is dead...

Switched one of our servers to BC2: Vietnam. That game is at least almost crash free.
If that one starts crashing as well, we surely can say this is an attack on certain IP's

LOL, my BF3 server blazed.... as well as the BC2 server... so I guess we can be pretty sure these are attacks!

Whether or not the issue lies with ddos attacks the Host ie Multiplay surely should be able to provide some kind of stable service. This is just stupid, we are seriously considering other providers now. One's that don't go down every few hours.

It's not only Multiplay. Some NFO servers, from a befriended admin, in the US also went down at exactly the same time.

This number one server in Japan went down 4 times today:

its hit or miss with online support. you have some really good ones. then you have the total NOOB ones who suggest some of the funniest things.

mp: create a new profile... maybe that will help

Just went down again. So if this is a BF3 wide issue how comes only certain servers go down. Our friends server hasn't been affected once.

2 of my servers went down again... One Crash / One Blaze

This is a BF3 wide issue. And I truly believe these are attacks on the gameservers or GSP networks.
All around the globe servers from different GSP's are dropping and yet some servers are being spared.

It does indeed appear that way. It seems like there may well be some sort of hack out there which can take down or at least cause a blaze on BF3 servers, we're trying to gather information on it so we can feedback to DICE, in the hope they can find a fix.

The more info we can gather on this the better.
