Ive just had an eerie thought....

If STFC are in the poo so to speak.... then i3 is actually helping them in a money kinda sence....

This therefore raises a HIGH moral issue... Should we really be helping *SPIT* Swindon Town FC?!?!

In no way shape or form am i holding a grude against STFC for beating Pompey all those years ago....

in my experience, this never effects the conference and other social events of the club. As an example, see AFC Bournemouth, who had about 4 repreives from the verge of bankrupcy, yet everything functioned as normal. They were eventually bought by the community (not sure how, shares?) and the club is now very successful (financially at least), Oxford UTD (Swindons arch rivals) are another good example.

You're right not to be worried about this. The company that runs STFC's conference and catering sections is a separate entity. Even if they went to the next stage and actual receivership, the receivers would want to ensure continuity of existing customers, such as ourselves. We do bring in quite a fair bit of revenue over the weekend we're all there, with food and bar sales going through the roof on top of what we pay for the room hire and other services.
