I wasn't around when allegiance was supported by MS but i'm assuming they ditched it because there wasn't enough support or a big enough community for it, is that right?

If Allegiance were to become really popular again could microsoft impose some kind of legal thing where the community servers are'nt allowed to be run? ie, players have to play on the MS Zone. Just wondering.

what do u think?

No, I doubt it.

The free zone was always a part of allegiance. And since they stopped trying to milk it, as I understand it, they released the extra bits and bobs they had been holding back for subscribers only.

They cant very well take it back now.

well no i guess not, but when they realise what a bunch of tits they've bene in dropping allegiance in the first place they might try something - i dunno i was only speculating.

MS aren't the type to take humiliation (if you can call it that?) without trying somthing to save face.

well since MS were involved in some of the updates (they released an updated server code a few weeks back for instance) I don't really think they'd have an issue here. Besides, it's not often that people go around praising MS software as innovative and unique is it?
