It may have been a surprise and a shock to begin with but we all know by now that Half Life 2 will soon be upon us, after a 5 year wait from the day we first laid our grubby mitts on the classic, that is Half Life, with expected release on the 30th September this very year its looks like HL2 is turning out to be one of the best games of 2003, hardly a surprise really with Valve’s obsessive attitude to detail!

Well on my news travels I found a very good preview thanks to gamespy who have interviewed Valve at their head offices. It also has some interesting comments on the modding aspect of Half Life 2. Its good to see Valve really appreciating the modding community and how important it has been to them and the success of the game in the last 5 years.
