me and my mate are going half's on a 40m cross over cable

40m i hear you say
well you think, most people have two tvs in there house like me one in the bedroom and one down stairs. but trying to move a 21" Tv or bigger around the house is a pain in the ****ing ass so if i get a 40m the cable it can go from one tv to another without any one moving Tv's and this also works around all my mates house

and the 40m corss over cable, we are getting form the local computer store they can make them up so i hear and they tell me when i phone.

the cable comes to about £40 so £20 each

the actual material cost for such a cable is well under £15so that computer shop is charging you £25 for 5 minutes labour

i have bought 25 meter cables (when i couldnt be bothered to make them) for £9 from shops so intheory you could buy 2 of these @ £18 the pair and a cable coupler for £1.50

..................that leaves £20.50 to buy me beers with to say thnx for saving you money :D

Trade price of cable is around 9p per metre... then it's around 7p per end and just the time taken to crimp. Granted crossovers are a bit more fiddly, but certain not to that level of extra cost! So that's only around £4 in materials cost. As I said, I'll make and post one to you for £20 :)

so now all i have to do is get rid of the parents for the day, get my mate to bring his xbox around. get a few mate together and way we go.
