Well i just went to see this film ( when i was supposed to be studying, but thats beside the point ) and i urge you to go and see it as well.

Its got action guns and lots of laughs. Quite frankly superb.:D

One of the best films around at the moment.

Well, what are you waiting for?:)

Its really REALLY good.

Its a British one so theres none of that Hollywood crap ( well British/Luxembourg but it might as well be british ). There is lots of action, a couple of good gun fights ( guns on claws anyway ) and it is really very funny.

Its just the perfect movie. Lots of action but with a quite "dark" sense of humour rising at times. Dont get me wrong thers no custard-pies-in-the-face type moments but there are quite a few bits that will appeal to your sense of humour.

Very VERY VERY good.

Definately one to see.

Oh, and lots of blood and guts.:)

EDIT: and the best bit is, if i wanted i could go out and walk where they filmed the scenes cause it is set in the Scottish Highlands.:D

The trouble with Dog Soldiers is you know the ending.

Apparantly some muppet put the final scene in the Trailer.

Yeah, but i forgot about that scene while i was watching the film, and only remembered it when it was shwon on the screen. It also has no relevence on its own so never fear...the ending is still good.:)

I've been and seen this tonight and one word springs to mind "Awsome"
Its a nice refreshing change to see a film without any type of CGI or over the top animations or an american bollox influance. This film is just good old fasioned FX's and British witt.
I must go out on a limb and say its probably the best film i've seen this year.

9/10

Im not quite sure what to make of it.

Yes... it had a lot of humour throughout which you have to be British to appreciate, and is sorely lacking in most movies. Oh and the gore was fantastic...

but...

... there was not 1 single surprise. I knew how the last creature was going to die within the first 2 minutes of the movie.... and everything else was just totally predictable.

So... entertaining... but not really sure its something Id add to my collection.

Bowser, i completely agree.:D

Squire, i know what you mean, but i dont think it was really meant to be an "intellectual" movie, if you get me. But i have to admit, right at the start, everybody knows the myth about *edit* and werewolves. If my *edit* had just been chopped in half by a werewolve, id want to go out stabbing if you know what i mean.:D

And anyway, a flimsy tent and it opened the zip? I would have ripped the bloody thing to shreds not use the door.

But i still think its amazing.:)

You really should put SPOILER areound anything that is likely to give things away.

Yes, I understand that it was in no way an intellectual movie. I was not expecting one. The problem I had with it is that it wasn't simply as predictable as many hollywood films are, but the most predictable movie I have ever seen. Not one single surprise or twist... everything was given away or hinted at at least 5 mins before it happened.

Thats why Im having trouble deciding if I liked it.

Dyce

It is, well in my opinion anyway.

Might also be something different form Star Wars too.:D

TelexStar

I saw it last night before star wars (with a reluctant other half on my arm) and quite enjoyed it. As Muldoon put it, its very predictable but its fun also. and quite funny :)

Continuing the spoiler...

It was class when one of the Wolves put their head through the glass bit of the door and then someone throws boiling water at them, takes a step back, and then steps forward again and smacks the Wolf in the head with the pan. That was sheer class.:D

Oh yeah, and " I hope i give you the ****s! ".

:D
