wtf does everyone listen to during a game of allegiance, coz i cant really find any music that fits :(
plz help meh
I listen to the game sound effects, and what my team mates are shouting at me :)
I've never ever understood the desire to listen to music while gaming, except perhaps during certain exquisite moments in single player games.
It's like actions scenes in feature films - they *always* have more impact when you see the special or directors cut *without* the music on top - it is a very very rare occurence that background music makes a scene better - the only one that comes to mind is the first nightclub scene in 'Blade'.

um thx afty i think
Here to help.
If I *did* listen to music while playing Allegiance (if I did more piloting for example) I would fire up a playlist full of string-heavy Classical for that authentic 'relaxed psychotic pilot' feel.

out of the 2 - 3 times I played allegiance, I found that most of Pink Floyd's "Division Bell" album went quite well :)

The allegiance ingame music is most pleasing (and changes depending on your circumstances - ie in battle it'll go to a heavy, faster version of the ambient track you were listening to)
Just keep the CD in the drive

The background to the seminal in-game cut scene during an early mission in Homeworld with some great visuals.
I shall be forcing Homeworld upon persons at upcoming DreamLAN and StratLANs

my tiny little brain can't cope with the 3d movement in homeworld ;)
Yes! That's the point! It's *different*.
Monstrous multiplayer actually, *extremely* tactical, especially when played in teams of four where you can specialise your research to the benefit of the team.
Formation flying rocks too.
