CS In-built cheats....

There have been cheats built into cs 1.4, demos of the zoom script working can be found Here (www.easydom.net/~cheech/1.4cheats/zoom.dem) and the wall hack Here (www.easydom.net/~cheech/1.4cheats/cheat1.dem)...
Wasnt 1.4 suposed to get rid of cheaters?

The idea is to give everyone the cheats. thus making it a level playing field again. the idea now is to see who is the better cheater... :)

if you look at you console during play you will get lines such as

the administrator is runny this command for you:
$duck

and wall hacks and fly scripts there are millions of bugs in 1.4 and the jump is lame

1.3 was better for somethings
the new 1.4 lay out is good :)

GLOBAL OPPERATIONS will hopefully be like CS but without the cheating cos i think its not an open engine so it cant be as easily hacked.... for a few months anyway :rolleyes:

What about Condition Zero the offical CS game!!

as it not a mod will they be able to stop the cheaters???

thing is technically it still the HL engine so i doupt they will be able to change much!

if a programmer wants to cheat its gotta be pritty impossable to stop him actually altering the game!

Yes there are cheaters out there, but not as many as people think there are. What's really bringing down Counter-Strike isn't the cheaters but the people that whine every two seconds about them. 1.4's first person mode has made it easier to spot cheaters. Just stop declaring that CS is dead until it really is :p:

Counter Strike will survive in the servers which have a solid base of regular players.

There are more and more of these servers appearing and arseholes and cheaters are not tolerated.

CS is an amazing game, pity JK2 is occupying so much of my time.

yeah it does. and theres plenty of skill involved. if u only use lightsabers u have to be skillful to be able to kill things :)

thats bollox :) killing with lightsaber is virtually down to luck not skill. I'm not saying there's no skill involved its just not that much. The fact that all the players look like they're skating on ice, the force powers are unbalanced, the maps are un-interesting is besides the point

I hate force grip! it takes the fun out of the game. u have to have skill and only use the neutral powers and the appropriate healing ones. makes it much more fun :D

Ok firstly, CS is better than jk2, handsdown... CS is the greatest game of all time and for no reason other than it is. It just has that inexplicable thing that all games need and most games lack.

Secondly, if there's no skill to waving a lightsaber around and it's all luck, how come I can own pe0n's with my lightsaber?

Thirdly, it's the tweaks that make the game, so jk2 will probably plumet swiftly into the bargain basement bins of most places, but it's still a laugh.

And finaly everyone says a new version of CS is ****, and everyone still says there are too many cheaters, and everyone still says it must be time to bury it, but suprise! It never is, and people still continue to play it and in the end that's all that matters.

Counter strike HAS to be moved onto a better engine to make cheating harder and make the game faster!
But still retaining the EXCELENT gameplay it has!

Jedi Knight 2 is definately better in my opinion then counterstrike simply because it is an escape from reality. how many of u have watched the original star wars films (i know the older members here will back me up) and wanted to be in the films. jedi knight 2 gives u that chance. it is fun enjoyable and there is nothing better then cutting off ur friends hand vader style in a lightsaber duel

omg i played jk2 demo on cover disks of PCG yesturday and it ****ing 0wnz, im going to get that and play with meh lightsaber multiplayer style.... wooo 0wnag3. 10/10 i give it :)

Considering the HL engine still has some code in it from the Quake1 days it will :). Valve just trying to get every penny out of HL they can.

They cut the power on it in the patch which is good :) get the patch is good adds new levels and stuff :D
