Well I'm typing this over at my cousin's house at a small LAN we're running, and it's ****ing awesome :D

We've just bought it today on release day and we got the GC, 3 controllers, WaveRace, Super Monkey Ball and Luigi's Mansion..

Super Monkey Ball is one of the most addictive games I have ever played on a console. I can't put it down! And WaveRace... Well, what can I say... Truly it is an excellent successor to the N64 version.

As for Luigi's Mansion, I haven't had so much fun since, well... since Super Monkey Ball. And considering the console is onlt £130, it's a ****ing steal!

I got my GC today (was a suprise) and its a shockeh. It's alot better than I thought it would be. Almost as good as the Xbox from what Ive played on it. The Xbox is now going upstairs, and my wubley new GC is sitting next to the DVD-R:p:

Nicely funded too, sold my PS2 plus DVD stuff and all 10 games for £190. Got GC with 2 games and 2 pads for £194.

bought one for my brother and it didnt seem that great when i "tested" it b4 he got home from school. But for £200 for GC, 2 Games and a memory card it aint bad. btw Rogue Squadron II is HARD!

The transparent black Panasonic gamecube is what you want. Very rare and people in Japan are selling them off, for the equivilant of £1000, because the small number of the transparent black ones which were made were all bought staright away and have become extra rare.

Played on round a m8's that (Friday) Night, and what can I say??... Its the mutts nutts :D

Went out saturday and bought a GC + Extra Controller + Memory Card + LCD 5'' Screen + Rouge Squadron + Super Monkey ball.

Nintento knows how to make a console, and it shows with the Cube. For a start its Small, smaller than the Xbox, PS2, Dreamcast. Until you actually see one, you really dont have no idea on how small it is. Super Monkey ball is so addictive, and approachable by all ages.

Telexstar, get a GC and another telly with SMB, give your other half the controller. If she isnt hooked after a few minutes, I'll be very suprised !!

Sonically & Graphically its superb, the controller is a JOY to hold and use.

Im glad im not the only person finding rogue leader hard :)

For me, the Gamecube is a worthy console, and is far better than the Xbox or PS2.

Today I had a go at Fifa2002 Road To World Cup on the GC. I’m not that into football games, but I gave it a try as it’s only on loan from Blockbuster. Got back, put the disc in and straightaway was hooked. The graphical power of the gamecube went well with the smoothed graphics of the game. The game is like no other fifa I've played before. Instead of the tedious strategy of passing for 5mins then having a shot on goal which doesn't go in, straight away you’re into strategic attacking football. I must have hit the bar and the post around 15times in the match. The GC controller is brilliant for the game, as every button is easy to reach and use. Within 10mins me and my brother were having a frantic 1v1 match, with shots and tackles everywhere.

Even if you don’t usually like fotty games, give fifa2002 rtwc a chance. I found it to be a very fun to play and well designed game.

Monkey Ball is my favorite game, out of the three games he has. I was seriously tempted to buy a GC on launch.

The GC is going to own the X-box. Seriously.

I had the xbox on import but just recently sold it and bought one on release day. I got console, luigi mansion, Rogue Squad II, Crazi Taxi (dint really want but was a gc+bundle), Sonic Battle, mem card and extra joypad.

Well I love it reading about em, the gc very rarely goes below 60fps were the xbox dropps lower then 20 on some games, and the ps2 jerks at times.


Ayte rogue is tricky took me long enough to shoot the exhaust port on level one :)
