Oooooh thats too funny. MS are slowly digging themselves a hole there! You could just supplant KDE/GNOME with fvwm and netscape/mozilla etc. Or even lose the GUI and use a text browser :) Oh and on both KDE/GNOME, the browser doesnt REQUIRE integration :)

They havent a chance in hell of winning that one, however hard they struggle.

btw I'm FINALLY going to install SuSE 8 tonight. The box is even getting dusty now.

has anyone else noticed that the stupider the things M$ say in court the lighter the sentence they seem to get, they're a classic example of manipulating the legal system in a "Well we know we did it, and you know we did it, but because of this and this you can't punish us for it"

Microsoft defense:-

1/ defendant walks in.
2/ defendant crosses fingers behind his back and swears on the bible.
3/ defendant bull****s in front of lawyers.
4/ lawyers slap them down.
5/ repeat from step 3 several times.

I'm glad that the people they have against microsoft are technically competant and understand the segregation of the UI and OS on non-windows platforms.

yeah, my favorite had to be the SA vs FARK competition, where they made up tv shows that would never exist. Was v.funny.
