Last night Bootz and myself were playing online. Well after Bootz kicked some asses they all said she was cheating. God what is wrong with you people?!? Why can't they just accept that some people are good at Counter-strike and some people aren't as good. It's the same with every other game and you don't get called a cheat if you kick everyones asses at UT or Quake?

Is there something wrong with the way that Counter-strike works and not UT & Q3?

All in all I enjoy playing CS, but what I don't like is when you starting racking up kills without dieing and people call you a cheat. When I played CS for the first time about 2 years ago I hated it. I was always killed first and could never kill anyone else. Live with it.

If anyone is wanting a good game of CS try shady www.shady.org.

It has a zero tollerance on it tho so as long as you are their to play the game and have a laugh there aint no server better.

Although their are still one or two cheats that pop in every now and then they are soon spotted and removed.

plus there a rea a lot of cheaters in the CS comunity since it is so easy to do :(

in Q3 UT etc.... cheating isnt as wide spread.



But i remember pnce (in CS beta 7.something) i jumped onto a server running de_prodigy, as a T, the round had already started, and as i spawned, my team got massacred. I ran down the ramp, and got 3 head shots and 2 more kills (luck, not skill)

Your right the majority of people playing CS online are small children that complain endlessly when they lose, just play a different game and leave them to it

i have to say that as much as i love playing CS i have to agree with you. I tend to play on Demon 1 alot (and regularly own the server i might add :D ) and the only reason i go there is for pure entertainment value. It only takes, on average, about 5 mins before someone is accusing someone else of cheating.

Its so prevalent now that there are more people *accusing* players of cheating than there are actual cheats.

It does piss me off! If the accusations are'nt being thrown at me then its some other guy/girl and it just gets annoying, especially when the admin arrives and you realise that he is just another 14 year old idjit who thinks that anyone with a score above 20 is a cheat! :rolleyes:

hmm, Jolt's ok although their servers by default have sv_unlag set to 0 which is bad news. Cheating Death is that specially anti-cheating app that you need to have installed to be able to play on jolt.

Shady server has admins in age from 18 (I think the youngest) to almost into their 40's. Accusations of cheating in the server will get you kicked/banned.

If you cheat you will get banned.

hehe, i know what u mean, every1 server i join, theres always some1 accussing some1 of cheating. I know the problem of cheats was bad a while back, but there are some really good players out there, its just a shame ppl dont relise that

The reason they thought I was cheating - and I don't blame them, I would have had my suspicions about someone with the kinds of shots I was getting, was that i strafed to look round a corner, saw 2 cts so started shooting as i backed away behind the wall, then crouched continuing to shoot at the corner of the wall in their vague dierection. Result was 2 headshots. Maybe the fact my k:d ratio was at about 12:1 at that point. But then its a public server, they'res always gonna be whinging.

Telex, i play in mainly jolt servers, as they ping the best for me. I'm always in irc, so ips are left there.

I know a few admins also on some of the clan servers, so i tend to stick to those for good (and bad) admining.

e.g. cultgaming, lab etc.

btw, it took me one google search to find ogc 8, 1.4 wallhack and silent walk. This are for testing purposes only. I don't cheat before you say anything.

aye its not just CS, I play Rocket Arena 3, and been honest I am one of the top players out there (of course doesnt matter how good you think you are theres always someone better). Anyways some nights I play like a complete newb but others I am "On fire" I just cant be hit and get so many excellents and impressive sounds with my rails thats when ppl start moaning im either using a wall hack or aimbot etc, I have been accused of it on a few occasions, sometimes I feel offended to be accused of cheating because ive practiced so much to get to that standard, other ppl say I should feel proud, as they would if they was accused of playing as the same standard as bot... I dont know...

I just the way of the world ppl just cant stand to loose. Like I hate having duels in q3 and everytime your opponant dies they say summit liek "oh ffs" or "ffs" or "bastard lag" as if to imply that you flukes every shot, they should be owning you and you shouldnt stand a chance, that just really pisses me off, bigheaded gameplayer.

Sure I dont like playing games where im out skilled, who does?? no fun loosing every round, so u leave the arena then abuse comes flying how our ****e and a chicken and how you got "raped"... no those are the kiddies...
