I have BT highway, and proxy it to mine and my brothers pc via a server. all sounds fine, but my brother is a bandwidth hog and downloads more out of kazaa in a day than the ammount of packet that travel across the mpuk network!

does any one know of a cheap ISDN router that has some kind of bandwidth splitter that senses if ppl are trying to use the internet and then splits it acordingly?

I was thinking of the 3com ISDN home router thing, but its expensive (£200) and was wondering if there are any other routers for less

hmm as far as i know, if u want to 2 pc's to connect and u want to use hardware, the cheapest ull get a routing hub for is arround 80 squid (although i think that is for a cable router) nehow check out www.dabs.com for some good deals...

hope that helps
