i'm trying to set up a linux UnrealT server, but i can;t seem to access the web interface, i'm useing red hat 7.2 and useing the local ip of 192.168.0.100/ServerAdmin , all i get is the dns error screen, if i just put the ip in i get error 404
any i dears

i think it is the same as the windows version, to access the web interface u need to go to http://192.168.0.100:8888, u can set this port in the config file but 8888 is the default

sounds like the web server isnt enabled. have a look through the following page ... it might help:-

i thorhgt i did enable it, i did change the line in the UTweb bit to true

did you set the port number?
If its set to 80 and you have apache (or whatever) already running, then it wont work.
I think the line to edit / add to unrealtournament.ini is serverpot = portnumber

can you run a server that allows more than 16 players in UT?

yes u can run a server for however many players u want, tho it depends on the spec of the server, i usually run a 32 player ut server off a duel p2 350 with 320 meg ram.

does anybody else Play UT with a micro sidewinder gamepad bacause i find it much easier

We tried to run it on a Athlon 1gig, but it wouldn't let us have a server over 16 people.

you can set the max players from the config file or from the web based interface, i dont know the maximum limit of players the ut server supports but i know 32 is possible
