I built my...
1.2 Ghz Thunderbird,
256 DDR RAM,
17.2 GIG HDD, (salvaged from old pc)
GF2 GTS, (from brothers pc)
Runs on WinXP Proffesional,
...last summer. You guys?

hmm another one like this, put it this way, whatever you own someone will have something 10 times better.
I think a better way of putting things would be what have you got and at what price, then we could be really impressed and hopefully be able to get stuff cheaper.
Anyway I have 1.2gig, 512meg ddr, 40gig hd, GF2 Pro, Optical Sound Card, cost me around £500 ish

hence my nice dual ppro 200 i paid 125 quid for ;) Very nice machine!
otherwise 1.4 gig athlon , half a gig, gf2 ultra etc etcblah blah blah
does anyone get tired of these threads ?

Would have more RAM but the price went up (lousy RAM, going up in price, balls!)

Thats bout it really all incased in a nice black cool master super case :)
Only thing still in my machine thats oringal for 4years is the floppy drive :)

Sorry, but we've had these threads time and again. Each time it ends up with people talking about their "1337 machines where i have 6 in a room, all networked on gigabit network, with 142MB connection and direct backbone to the world" crap.
