I have been thinking alot about this and I am gettin my own shard up sometime soon but i was thinking of gettin a server set up at a futre i event and just having some fun :D. I got loads of new scripts wat only me and one other person has seen and by the time I can get to an i seris event my shard will be very close to opening so we can use em all. well tell me what u think people and if there is enuff demand expect to see a server running off my pc at a futre event.

I doubt you'll get a lot of takeup on a UO server at an I event to be honest. After all, it's not something that majorly suffers from playing on the web whereas Q3 et al do. So I'd imagine people are after them for the low lag stuff :)

I used to play UO but I got fed up of it so stopped playing.
The only pay per play game I'm wanting to play is Planetside which isn't released yet.

X - Beyond the Frontier is the greatest game ever created.
About a year ago there was news that an online version (most probably pay to play) would be released that would have all the trading features of X-BTF but would be entirely online and the factories and ships that you would encounter would be run by other players. sounded great at the time but all news of it seems to have died.
does anyone else know anything about whats happening with it?

Planetarion :p
I hate UO, but I have friends who play it - It lags very badly on the net.

That's 'cause the servers are ****e but the lag doesn't really affect the gameplay that much. Not as if you have control over combat really...
