find the IP address of the web site using:-

http://sc.newnet.co.uk/cgi-bin-local/digw

then substitute the server name for the ip address.

you cant lookup dns stuff if you use the name of the site, the system is a little bit more complex, I was thinking of a web site ssh terminal, then I can get into my shell and on and onwards onto the unrestricted world wide web :D
