Rollercoaster tycoon

I know this isnt multiplayer based, But I do love a bit of roller coaster tycoon. The thing thats really pissing me off though, is even though Ive had the game about 2 years, I dont know how to build rides underground. Its just annoying as I have just got to some level where it says it rains all the time so there's already a big mountain type thing with a ride built under it already.

I want to know how to put ANY ride underground. I can do rollercoasters, just I cant do single thrill rides and the like.

Anyone got any ideas?

They manage to put all but the framework of the launched free-fall underground as the scenario starts, so that leads me to believe you can put anything underground.

I want to try and put stuff like the pirate ship and twister underground. It a pain to build a completely underground roller coaster, cos you have to start it overground and then delete those bits after. Any way to start construction underground?

as far as i know that is not possible but on the preset levels they seem to do it so it must be, try lowering the ground right down then build the ride on it, then set the spade to its largest and lift the ground up around it and it should join.

Right... what you need to do is to drop a path underground, then from there you can build tottaly underground...

How do you mean?

I have a path underground and I cant build next to it, only on top of the land.

Or do you mean lower 1 piece of land to to hieght I want the rides at, put a pathon it and I can build next to it underground?

lower the land and you can build under automaticly im sure of it!

Ok, to build rollercoasters totally underground...

1. Start building a normal coaster, above ground, but go underground as soon as possible.

2. Once underground as low as you want to go, build a station (you have to be at least 3 or 4 blocks underground for the start/exit to be put into place).

3. Once you have built a station underground, click on the station at the start of the ride (above ground), and use your bulldozer to demolish track until you are at your new underground station.

4. Build rest of ride (all underground, whatever).

5. Entrance/Exit Paths have to be done the same way, start above ground, build down to the rides entrances/exits.

6. Open ride.

Things like pirateships and the like, cannot be built underground, without using a trainer/ hack like program.

Hope it helps, look up the drexler patch in google for a couple of intresting hacks/patches? for the game. One will allow you to build rides and have 12 trains on them :), the other will just allow you to run trainers (there is a lot of anti-cheat code in the game!).

yes thats the way to build rolercosters underground but here is how u build the other rides underground.

You have to download a saved game editor which u can get at a RCT website, i sugest the RCT website from Stratergy planet.

When u have this editor u go into the game and then place the ride exactly where u want it to be in the game, the editor when used only puts the ground over it and does not lower the ride so make sure u place them in the right place.

Then save and back up the save game file and load up the editor then select the ride and click make underground and thjere u go.

nope, the last level has to be done underground, the whol level is just one massive block :)

just download the trainers, make a flat land park where nothing exists except a flat level of land..

then build it urself from scratch, putting everything on it :)

i uploaded pics of one part of one park i made, its tottally wicked :) i did a whole park with themed areas, but lost it when i formatted :(((

this was my 'futuristic' zone :) its ace :P

anyway, nuff g00ning round about this game, its old now. but easily one of the best games eva :)

they should make a multiplayer version, where u have one piece of land, and both u have to build parks on it, and the winnar is the person with most happeh peeps in there park :O

you can't. it's very annoying, but I don't think it's actually possible.
