OMG, Hotmail

I think calling hotmail an email service is now an insult to the whole concept. It supposed to be fast, reliable etc...

Hotmail is the exact opposite of this. It can now officialy be classed as snail mail!!!

It took me 2 mins to get in this morning, and I had a load of adverts popping up as well.... its getting to be rediculous

Adverts is the way to do it, Oh and sell your email address to companies that spam you.
Their trash filter thing doesn't work too well either.

I am proud to say that I do not have a hotmail account in any form - and never have had!

I have a .net passport for MSN Messenger, but no hotmail at all!

Well you are just a freak then aren't ya.
EVERYONE has a Hotmail account even if they don't use it.
It's a good place to use your address to sign up for stuff you know will result in plenty of spam.

A specific alias on my freeserve account,with mail filters to sort it all into a 'junk' folder.

I use hotmail and yahoo, i dont have any probs with hotmail personally, yeah it goes down at times but not as often as i get a message on yahoo saying Gateway Timeout and it refuses the work for the rest of the night!

I don't use Hotmail, because it's a sad excuse for a service.

As for sign up for services where you know you will get spammed - I either use a false address, or I simply don't use the service. That's the price the company pays for being associated with spammers.

I would happily PAY for all sites I visit regularly, but most just don't have the option. *sigh*.

I have no problems login onto Hotmail. Plus why is it you get loads of p0rn mail after having an account for so long and not knowing where from, Thank god for the spam bin.

I had a HoTMaiL account back in 1997 when they were okay. Then Micro$haft came along and took it over. I never used it from that day onward. As I understand it, if you don't use a Hotmail account for 4 months it gets deleted.

Only half-sucking to the Beast is just as bad as sucking it all in. By using the abomination that is MSN Messenger and getting a .net Passport account, you are in fact part of the Micro$haft grand plan to store all the information of everyone in one place.

I use messanger for that reason also. I HATE HATE ATE HATE Hotmail. I ave kept looking for a free POP3 Provider, but haven't been able to find one.

btw apart from signing your life away to a .Net passport and the fact that it never works, search for "messenger plus" on google.com. You can turn all the bloat of MSN messenger then ;)

Im using yahoo messenger at the moment. You dont get spammed, there are no adverts, you can turn everything off and it stays off, its free, and any moronic friends can easily download it. (oh and it does offline messages for the pe0ns who need them).

Yahoo was really cool i thought, but it always crashed my computer and i just got really mad and removed it compltly.

This was before i had irc of course. Im actually quite disturbed to find my life pretty much revolves around IRC :-/

Firstly, the Bigg Market is full of charves (townies, or whatever local vocab dictates), wearing their Ben Sherman shirts and RockPort boots and all the 19yr old lasses have left their 3yr old kiddies at home, ect.

And theres me, with ma baggy trousers and blue hawian shirt and bunches in my hair. Basically, id get my ass whipped in approx. 14 seconds..

i use hotmail and get no spam at all. no joke!

and i only use it because it is imo the only good free webmail service, if you get round the spam. as soon as i get my domain hosted on a host that supports webmail + pop3, out goes hotmail :)

i use the option, 'recieve mail from only those in address book' and 'permanently delete all other mail'....
