Counter-Strike cheaters - grrrrr

Some guy called 'Nick' came onto the server last night and ran some kind of script that messed everything up.

Firstly, it took away everyones crosshair.
Then, at the start of a new round, everyone who was previously dead, remained in 'DEAD' status and was unable to buy anything, type anything. All they got was their default pistol.

As you can see from halfL04e, i'm dead, but i'm still holding my M4 and am very much alive.

Does anyone know how the feck this can happen? I've never seen anything like it!

I dont know what causes but I know theres something similar out there for quake3, ppl who have this cheat can press buttons to make everyone on the server do certain thins like change to a certain weapon or they all look up to the sky and shoot a rocket.

Are you using Admin / Clan Mod at all??

There are some cheats out there that let people get control of the server and issue commands to players as though they were coming from the server. Usually, these commands a destructive rather than constructive. Could just be another type of cheat if not.

Ive got a feeling that too many people are once again pegging all their hopes on the new release (1.4) of Valves Counter-Strike. From the things that ive seen (and played) its a complete wash-out...

Should be fun to see what the general gaming public think..

true enough i think it was a BW or Demon server - both of which run CSguard

My new webpage CS Network (http://www.cs-network.co.uk/) has a feature called CHEATER WATCH. Where cheaters are named and shamed including their WON ID's so server admins can get their WON ID and permanently ban cheats from servers. So if you see anyone cheating get a screen shot of your console with their name, cheat name and WON ID and send it to us.
