Being a programmer we are always finding out about keyboard shortcuts so we dont have to waste time with the mouse.
Anyway, a long time ago i found out that Alt+S in outlook sends the mail, and is a quick way to do a reply,
Ctrl+R to reply and then Alt+S to send.
Just typing a reply in another forum and i did the Alt+S outlook type reply thing, and it worked on the forums!
So now you know, instead of using the mouse to submit you can do Alt+S.
Hum.

In outlook ive always used CTRL+ENTER to send the mail.
Also for those that dont know you can use the windows key and many others to perform many tasks such as WINKEY+R to load Run or WINKEY+F to open find, plus man y many more.

A couple more that many ppl dont seem to know;
IN WinNT/2k if you press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC it brings up the Task Manager so saves you pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL then clicking task man.
Also in Win95 on the sign on screen you can press the windows key to bring up the program TASKS where u can do some stuff which one of them I found allows u to bypass domain logons, but im not going to give that away.

winkey + pause/break
System properties
winkey + e

all great when you're juggling programs, and checking system hardware

Also by hitting CTRL ALT DEL twice you can quickly restart your computer. ;)
God bless the old three fingered salute
One other that I use quite alot is WINKEY BREAK, this brings up sytem properties

Isn't it ALT S Jarmin, CTRL S is like the universall save command isn't it?
But you are right once again as I just tryed it with this post.
Aha, CTRL S did popup a save box! What is it?
Oh I bet it's because I use opera or something, I'll try it in IE whenever I fancy the internet slow.

You suck man.
Another useful one if you are having one of those days where a friend has stolen your cordless mouse and you can't find it... JARMIN
CTRL TAB will cycle through tabs in them little funky things, like display properties and sytem properties and the like.

I use WINKEY+D to show my desktop its like clicking the icon in the explorer bar bit to show desktop.
Another useful one is ALT+TAB and then press tab whilst holding down ALT to cycle through all open programs to bring them to focus.
Another useful one that many don't know in WinXP Pro (dont think it works in Home Ed, and not sure if it works in Win2K?) if you press WINKEY+L this will lock your workstation.

Tele that also works in Excel is you want to highlight all cells that contain data not every single cell in the column.

I do a lot of shortcuts as well.
Personal favourites?
CTRL+A = Select all items
CTRL+C = Copy item
CTRL+X = Cut item
CTRL+V = Paste item.
ALT+153=?
ALT+0169=©
ALT+0174=®
CTRL+ALT+4 = ?
And never EVER forget CTRL+Z. Undo last action.... sometimes it can save you from a LOT of trouble.

You may find it easier to use Ctrl X,C,V

But Ctrl X,C,V don't always work, espcially in command line, or in telnet/SSH sessions.
Though TBTH I have not used the Shift Ins combos before.
