perhaps if were were all to donate cheese-wheels we could make a huge juggernaut. Then if we get a load of hamsters, we can put them in the cheese wheels and let them run us there...
Beats walking I guess...

There are more people living near us than I thought! OK, so as long as we can get a lift there and back, we really don't mind how we get there. There are 3 of us, but it's fine if we take seperate lifts and meet up at the venue.
Any help? Thanks loads in advance! :D

I'm REALLY frustrated now, but I'm going to make this work! I now have a lift home from my Dad, lol, who is getting back from a rugby league match early enough to get to Newbury.
All I need now is a lift TO the venue. Any takers?
(Podgey, what's going on now?)

Really sorry to see you aren't going m8, I only wish there were some fleet of magical LAN buses able to drive all round the country to pick up us hardcore LANers. ;)
I should be able to drive by i11, so I'll be offering lifts from Cambridge as well hopefully.

Sadly it looks as though I'm not going to make this one. The only way I can see is to cram into the back of a transit van in Northampton and go from there, not really worth the hassle. I take my driving theory test on thursday, and not long after my actual driving test, so hopefully I'll be able to offer lifts for the next one.
Still, at least I have £70 going spare now! ;)

Mmmmm...
You guys give up far too early :(. I'm going, and Im leaving from the "norwich" area. Which means I could stop at cambridge to pick someone up. Ok its a little outta my way, but not totally impossible.
Only reason I havent mention before, is becuase, im not sure if there will be space yet. I have a dithering m8, who says he wants to go, but wont actually commit himself to going (eg. pay!).
PM me, we might be able to work something out..
For future events, maybe we can organise a coach / mini bus from the east of england??

OK, looks like I'm going after all! I found me a lift, but it was way too difficult, we need a LAN-bus for the next event to pick people in the Cambridge and surrounding areas up. Maybe a whole fleet from the East of England at a discount rate or something.
