souns like a n00b thing to say but are there any decent tuts out there on irc (mirc espec)

just had first decent session and want to learn more

/me needs abuse for exaple is a good way of making new freinds!

as for IRC, you just pick it up as you go along ... just remember:-

/me <-- talk as an action ie

/me slaps SquireMuldoon for not knowing what a tut is.

/join <-- join a channel #multiplay

/join #multiplay

===========

/quit <-- time for bed...

/quit

/nick <-- change nick

As for the rest, play around in the options in mIRC or whatever you are using, use the help as much as possible and ask questions on the channel. You will get called a n00b etc - even I do (considering I've used IRC for about 5 years now -- i just take simple approach -- no poncy fancy crap) and therefore am not 1337...

Ah, I see. A tutorial... of course, how silly of me, and theres me thinking it was some old dear shaking her finger going "Tut tut tut, the youth of today...", etc etc.

There are tutorials lurching around the internet.. First Read through your mIRC help file (uf your using mIRC of course). Places like mircscripts.org (www.mircscripts.org ) and scriptaz (www.scriptaz.com) might have some information.
