As it is the private messages function is hidden right at the bottom, and it is easy to miss messages without knowing they are there, is there any way to bring the messages feature up top, so you can see it top left, even if it says, 0 new or whatever?

Yes it's possible, it's down to the administrator(s) though. I know it's possible, as 2cpu.com do it on theirs.

if you click on "user CP" at the top, then "Edit Options", there is an option called "Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?" which does excatly what it says, and is very helpful, but by default it is turned off :(

Yea, i turned that on straight away and its bloody brilliant. As soon as you arrive on the forums it pops up.

you mean u get pm's? /me feels all sad and lonely now cos hes never had one :( oh well i think it will prolly pick up now cos im raiding the forums big time due to my online presence now (after disapearing for 6 months on 2 occaisions after both times of being promoted in MPUK web side) and the fact i reged in dec 99 when the forums first went live and ive only got 220 or so posts :(
