The inside of the elbow is a very sensitive area, its where you check to see if your allergic to things, like...My friend Kerry is allergic to washing powder, and her mother used to have the rub it on the inside of her elbow and well....her arm went red in about 6 seconds.
Im allergic to hair dye, and i check what hair dyes i can use by having a "patch test", where the hairdresser puts a bit of the dye on your arm and if my arm explodes, its a nono....
