my dad cancelled BTI and got AOL

i can either use AOL or have no access to the net... :/

I would use the net, but not AOL, never. I would make my dad think AOL was a crap service (Eg automatic downloads to make it slow, etc) and persuade him BT is better.

AOL is strictly 4 n00bs as u can't do anything frominside an AOL account except basic FTP and HTTP.
