Wizzo, MD and our glorious (haha, I kill myself sometimes) leader has been chatting to our friends over at Cadred.org.
Read all about it on their site as Wizzo waxes lyrical about the i-Series.

sigh
"At the end of the day people will vote with their feet. If they feel £80 a ticket is too much for 4 days of fun with all the amenities and services provided on site, then they simply won't attend. Given the 3-week sell-out of i34, you could argue the ticket price is actually too cheap :) "
Shameless.

Interview is... an interview at least things are a bit more direct now in terms of "its £x take it or leave it" .
The real winners are the after post comments. These are of epic proportion on that Cadred page. It even manages to boil down to the "Wizzo lovepuppet fanboys vs honest decent robin hood straight up guys" debate before settling back onto meaningful exchange.
The good stuff out of the comments is the seeding debate .. akin to a political debate. Points of view 'better' vs a factual 'better' . 'better' definition changing on if you were stuffed by the previous/current system and number of high rated teams rolling up.
I could see some sort of Multiplay Competition Committee being created with reps from current key community sites with some sort of yearly voting. A few good long meetings / workshops with community appointed experts should blow through the misdirection that open forum debate brings along.
This would be extra effort for the Multiplay team and at the end of the day responsibility for comps still, and should, sit with Multiplay, which is important as when things have been 'shared' before it never seems to work. (Try not to go down the WCG route which is Korean death by committee following on from almost random web vote)
I assume that bub is na_bub from here, he/she is at least consistent and you can feel the passion drip off of the posts.
Wether you agree or disagree on any post i-event coverage/content it all becomes so much more serious when you start to lob decent wedges of cash at it.

After a while you just learn to ignore him ;)

Yer its good to see people putting passion as well as some facts to the initial hot headed comments of the so called "seeding debacle".
I hope if nothing else it will lead to a better understanding of what is quite a complex system by the wider community.

So are Multiplay doing any work today or are they replying on Cadred all day again? ;)

Wizzo knows how to spark some good debates out.
