Confirmed release date of September 18th, ive been following this game since the title itself was announced. In theory it looks ok, however i have been playing WoW for about 3 years now and am still having fun to this day. So its going to have to pull somthing extra special out of the bag to get me to part with my money.

What's your views on the title so far?

P.S Despite it having rather flashy GFX and spell effects it turns out the system requirements are not going to be that power hungry at all.

It will be utterly utterly crushed by WoW once WOTLK comes out.

It will have just enough time to get a month or two of subscriptions out of jaded WoW players before people return to their first and only love.

It happened to LOTR, it's happening to AOC and it'll happen to WAR.

I was interested in the game about 2 years ago, but it just doesn't offer anything to beat WoW. It's a shame, because there's a wealth of lore available, plus a much darker world and more interesting classes. But in the end, it looks like yet another WoW clone.

Nice reply Qdos 100% agree, i mean every mmo since the release of World of Warcraft has claimed to be the next up and coming WoW beater..and where are they now.

I definatly think due to what they could of had to offer in terms of lore they have decided to play it safe, they have basically taken the working elements of WoW and tried to expand on the gripes that seasond WoW players have brought up.

Yes, come september the wow forum boards will be full to the brim of /farewell posts, but come november they will... be back :)

I heard they've removed races cities, multiple classes and alot of stuff that made the game good.

Will be nice when all the WoW players go home and we get some space back without having to queue to get on servers tbh. :P

Heh, our server wasn't too bad yesterday - most anyone had to wait was about 2 minutes to get on.

They're raising the caps over the next few days.

We just need more people playing Order - everyone has gone destruction!
