Done some initial sniffing around on this interweb thing yesterday and noticed a few sites that used to organise lans in Essex, all are now defunct, considering the size of the population down here how come there are no lans going on? Surely MPUK could sort out an Slan equivalent for the Essex boys? dont be scared not all of us carry knives (we prefer shooters)
monge tout rodders
i was thinking more west london.. my nearest lan was i-series at newbury or LlamaLAN in south london

I had an extension built at the back of my house and regularly had up to 20 people in there playing quake/unreal all using my own stuff once a month, and even though everything was in place and ready to go I still had loads of problems with connections, hardware etc etc, its hard work and I would prefer it if someone else put all the effort in and I just turn up with a ticket, a pc and a bottle of JD
Dunno what the demographic of the forums users are but if there enough Essex types here (and Kent) how about a vote to see if there is any interest? Plenty of village halls around here, web access is the only problem ,well that and villains driving jags and shooting up people with their shooters and saying swearwords.

Fair enough then. I swear there is still an active LAN round those parts...
They're just so hard to find!
