Just had a thought about the security badges issued at I series events, i'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before but how about also giving a bussiness card type thing with the customers ID that they can keep in their wallet as well as the badge (so everyone has a badge and a card with their name on it)?

The reason i bring this up is because i beleive 4 of the clumsy gits on our row (A in CO) managed to break/lose their badges at one point or another over the weekend, which caused some problems.

The badges were a bit of a pain to be sure but they did the job - except I think mine was held together with jam or something as it broke startlingly easy (easy Lenny)...

A in-wallet ID card would be pretty good for those who want to pretend to be the feds or something.

I guess it all boils down to cost (low), and the average gamer's capacity for loosing/breaking stuff (high) :)

how bout photo id's?

evry1 can bring a passport photo and at reception, it can be glued to the passes.

everyone has to have their retina scanned, a skin sample, and a UV mark indellibly printed on their forehead?

talking about badges

My mates and mine fell apart. i had a clip thing on my wallet so i was ok but when my mate went to get a chain, he was told "sorry, they are for staff only"

But we had both seen non staff with chains!
