Well we all know Primark is cheap, it is brilliant for Jeans, T-shirts, socks and many more … But do we ever wonder why it is so cheap?

Well the story is that, Primark are Pushing all there items out quick “this month’s new look” all that kind of stuff, they have a “look” for each month. The factories are based in India, Primark give them a deadline to finish the garments, now there must be 1000000’s of these items being made, some of the items require, sequins and beads or something so they have to sub-contract the work out… secretly so they can get it done. This could mean children!

You can’t just close factory’s down peoples jobs and survival are based on these jobs, Primark are to blame themselves

At what point did i make a comment based on any of that? ;)

And yes, i've watched the show.

Oh, and just think about it. It's similar to our industrial revolution, we had lots of children working then, but does anyone ever bring that up? Nope. It's part of life that every country will have gone through/ has gone through on the road to prosperity/ becoming a fully developed.

I saw it on TV the other night and wasn't surprised at all.
They ALL do it. Primark, T.K.Maxx, Tesco, Asda, even Marks&Spencer. Check the label on an item of clothing to see where it is manufactured.

T. K. Maxx's model involves driving a big truck to the distributors and seeing what they want to get rid of.

They approached a company I used to work for about making some software for them.

The thing is who is really hurting, the familys involved are from a poor society and surely its better that then can get as much money as then can? As long as the children have a choice and once working they can leave when they want I dont think it should be too bad.
Hell was I was 8 I was doing a paper round, I used to delivery the local paper 6 days a week, took me just short of two hours each day and I got £5.80/week surely that in a way is illegal.

It was also revealed recently that nearly all foods that contain eastern herbs and spieces have also at some point been farmed by children many forced to yet for some reason it seems only the clothing industry that gets highlighted.
