Not sure if anyone watched this the other day.
Is school really like that nowadays, Is it a true representation to gang life in London?
How things really have changed over the last 10-15 years. Sure enough there was a bullying and fights but not to this sort of degree of total hate and disrespect for human life. Fair enough I didn't grow up in London but I don't think late 80s early 90s up here was much different?
If you aint seen it its on iplayer, about 1:30hr long, warning does contain strong language from the start.

Although it’s meant to be a good moral story, I’ve heard the chavs round my area say it’s there favourite movie like it’s some kind of medal.

They're talking about it on Radio 1 at the moment and it sounds pretty good. I've had a recommendation from a colleague too, so I've got it downloaded ready for watching this evening.

I thought Kidulthood was just bloody awful. I couldnt understand wtf half the people were on about.
My judgement is probably skewed due to my unnatural haterid of chavs and just wanting to stomp all over them for being gormless waste of space thickies.

I don't belive life is like that for them ?
I did think the story was good. But they should use language what makes sence.
"what blud, why is u repin ma woman man" and the screaming...
Actors are good, rather like DeadPoets Society some of the actors had never been on tv? or acted!

They are trying to give an accurate portrayal...... thats what some people in London speak like.

Wasn't Screwball originaly cast for ALL the roles in this film, but then had to drop out due to being "too much" for the director?

But they should use language what makes sence. And maybe you should learn to use proper spelling and grammer?
People communicate (as that's what talking is) in the same way as that of their peers. Insinuating they can somehow better themselves while you're free to reign down terror on the Queens English is somewhat hypocritical, and ignorant of both the society they live, and communication in general.

Take in the account of Dyslexia, Learning disabilities... before you make some what for countable statement, take in mind to see you are automatically putting someone down for the very four front of your argument you have created.
You seam very Hypocritical, I was carless and miss spelt a word. But what gives you the right to undermine someone’s opinion. “but they should use language what make sense” is what I thought and I believe! They only argument you may perhaps have is that my opinion is wrong, as it my opinion, and you for that reason have grounds to reason.
“Insinuating they can somehow better themselves “ You just have my friend... happy?

I assume you've never met any chavs from south london then, how ever hitman your language fails to make sense.

I agree with Afty, my opinion (like the one you have that you're defending) is that you should learn to speak properly before you insult others for not speaking like yourself. You weren't careless, you just don't care about your grammar or spelling, and for the record, dyslexia is no excuse unless you're colour blind as well, spell checkers have been around for over 10 years.
As for Gemini and the others agreeing, you're just as bad as chavs, the people portrayed in the film aren't chavs at all, i'm sure you could relate to some extent. Surely in your lifetime you've encountered people that find your accent hard to understand? :)
like blud dont make me get oldskool ya get me?

You'd be suprised. Due to a lot of the culture in the surrounding area and a small dash of the "self-defeatism" salt thrown in to the mix for being involved in such a culture, it turns out a lot like that usually. There's things like that going on in where I am, except most of the people I know of go out of town to do anything more illegal than the norm as far as I'm told anyhow.
It's an interesting watch, none-the-less.

Id rate Kidulthood SLIGHTLY better - more gritty
Adulthood is much more emotional! Lots of crying!! Defo worth a watch tho!!
