Whilst I liked the WW2 COD games I was glad they moved into the modern era because it was a nice change and it was done brilliantly. They also said they WOULDN'T go back to the WW2 era, turns out that was a load of rubbish wasn't it lol. Of course I'll give it a go but I am disappointed they've gone back :(

I wonder if the reason behind going back to WWII is due to the fact infinity ward aren't involved?

Im hoping COD5 also adds the leveling up and challenges, I enjoyed this addition to FPS games I thought it worked quite well.

Again i liked the WWII games at the time but having played so many (COD, Medal of Honor, BF1942) i've done them to death. Much rather have Modern Warfare now.

The good thing is, if this game is crap and is released after McCain gets into power, it wont last long.

There are still rumours that knifes and swords play a big part in the game (13 seconds into the teaser one of the deaths is from a sword).

I was looking forward to another Infinity Ward outing.

Well they were given two years to make 5 so lets hope it is good.

Why cant we move on from WW2, Gulf War could be tried, or a Vietnam or Korean Campaign. They are more modern and not such a well covered time period.

I would have thought that they would try and keep it current or maybe use the latest concept weapons and such. I dont see the franchise moving into the sci-fi arena personally.

Though they will go where ever the money can be found so if a commissioned survey says go sci-fi maybe they will.

Anyway we won't know for a while but at least it'll be made by I.W.
