For anyone who is missing having Adblock in Firefox 3, here's a simple way of installing it.
Download the .xpi file (don't install it) for adblock, and then open it with an archive program (E.G Winrar). Extract install.rdf from it, and edit it with a text editor such as wordpad.
Change this line in the code:
<!-- FireFox -->
<em:targetApplication>
<Description>
<em:id>{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}</em:id>
<em:minVersion>0.7</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>4.0</em:maxVersion>
</Description>
</em:targetApplication>
Make sure the maxVersion reads 4.0. Place it back into the archive, and drag the .xpi into a FF3 window and install it. Hey presto, Adblock in FF3.
