So yeah, I just registered, but now I'm wondering whats actually gonna happen next.

Am I going to get an email suggesting online match times? Other peoples Gamertags to fight?

But with only 7 people so far (to date) who have applied for VF5 how involved can the selection process be? :confused:

Once registrations have closed matches will be scheduled and will be visible through the WCG website. We'll be dropping an email round confirming where you can find all the information at that point as well, part of this will be collecting your GamerTags so you can find each other :)

Ah, so the tournament is a knockout format? Single or double elim - and does this apply to all the games?

Online qualifiers are all Group Stage followed by Double Elim.

What the difference between single and double eliminations? Sorry, I've not been in any tournaments before.

Single Elimination is where you lose a game and your out (like the FA Cup)

Double Elimination is where you have an Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket. Everyone starts in Upper Bracket, if you lose a game you drop down to lower bracket. If you lose a match in lower bracket you are eliminated. The winner of UB plays the winner of the LB in the grand final. UB winner only has to win 1 map / game, whereas LB winner has to win 2.

The email has gone out, but the my matches page just shows me versus peoples login names. Gamertags are n/a vs n/a, so I won't be able to message anyone via LIVE for hook ups.

Where can I input my Gamertag?

My Live gamertag is 'p33king DUCK'.

Hi, any chance of an Admin/Mod being able to email all 10 of the Virtua Fighter participants and get them to post their gamertags in the gamertag thread?

So far I can only see three VF Gamertags there. Without those Gamertags we can't fight each other!
