Thanks

Air Soft
For those who want to take part in something with a little more brains, a little less brawl but with all of the same adrenaline pumping action then Air Soft could be for you. Organised large-scale battles will be operating throughout the weekend and will be taking the form of several different modes - hostage rescue, personal security detail and battlefield combat. Good for groups, this is a game that requires teamwork and a competitive edge!

:D::D::D::D::D::D::D::awesome:

no paintball mentioned :(:

also
Please note: Some activities, eg 4x4 Expeirence, may incur an additional cost.

can you explain how much these things will cost ??

Shapes&Colors
14th May 2008, 19:10
No you don't need to buy a spec ticket. As long as you have a paid BYOC ticket and you accompany him to check in.

This will be scenario airsoft run by ex SAS. It's not open airsoft.

You'll be equiped like the SAS, full replica uniforms etc.

So no to bringing your own kit.

ez64

I think they meant just markers "guns" like in most paintball places using scenarios the places let them use your own guns after a saftey check and without your own Co2 bottles.

BYOC participants can take part in all M Festival activities.

There are some activities that require an additional cost which both M Festival and i34 participants will need to pay.

We have ensured that these cost are kept to a minimum.

The activities will be available to book soon.

Bucking Bronco Rodeo

If you're bringing the family along to M Festival then the kids will love our under-12's fun zone. The Fun Bus is stopping by with a whole manner of engaging activities for young minds. Crafts and games are organised and there's even a giant slide that'll have the adults jealous they can't have a go themselves!

Giant Human Table Football

For older teenagers and adults there's a bucking bronco rodeo - stay on the mechanical bull for the longest and win the respect of complete strangers! Passersby will think you're a natural as you tip your hat, wink and leap onto the bull - at least for about 30 seconds until you fly off onto the inflatable cushions that is.

Kids Zone

Football fans are spoilt for choice between our giant inflatable human football and our five-a-side football pitches and nets. If you're always finding yourself out of position then human table football could be for you. Fixed to a moveable pole with your team-mates you can't ever be offside and it involves significantly less running than normal football (though significantly more than normal TABLE football!).
The descriptions and titles are muddled up :)

I've had exactly the same error. Something about the Flash9e.ocx plugin crashing and IE needed to close. Done it twice so far and never had this problem on any other site. Seems to happen randomly but very regularly. IE7 and XP x32.

Also noted a contradiction on the site.

Picking 3 or more days will convert your ticket to a Festival Pass, which will get you FREE access to the campsite and full access into the Gamers Paradise zone for just £25.00 per Adult.

*M Festival Pass allows you full access to the viewing gallery only.

It doesn't 'keep growing', where you move from the mfestival.com domain to our secure server some information usually stored in a cookie is passed across in the URL. Once you've crossed domains the URLs return to normal.

Archery is free.

Other free stuff (as it stands):

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
Bucking Bronco
Giant human table football
Laser Tag/Quasar
Kids Zone (fun bus, slides et al)

You will ofc have to have a valid M Festival or i34 ticket.

Did I see mention somewhere of a party on the Friday night? Couldn't see anything on the site from a brief look, but any more info welcome, thanks!

(Also, just as a typo/spelling/grammar type comment: you use the word 'cumulating' on the site. Felt wrong to me, even though it is a word and has roughly the right meaning. In my mind, it should be 'culminating'. Sorry, I don't mean to be a pedant I promise but I was happily reading along and it jumped out at me and is just not quite sitting right. But not technically wrong either I guess so I'm sure it won't exactly be top of your list of priorities... ;) )

Java/Flash issue fixed, cheers to everyone who reported it and helped with feedback!

For anyone interested, the problem was that we were using SWFObject (code.google.com/p/swfobject/) 1.4. Version 2.0 fixes the problem, but of course has a totally different API which meant a bit of hacking around :)

Really looking forward to i34 and the fact the BYOC pass allows you into the MFestival is even better.

Just a query on airsoft; I was watching the gadget show two nights a go and it had two teams equipped with guns etc but they were laser/infra red, if you got shot your suit made a flat line noise and you played dead till round ends. Is this the same thing?

Looking forward to the Archery, not shot for 2 years so that will be fun to do again.

Also for BYOC ticket holders do we need to book the events in advance or do we book when we get there?

Im sorry but a trust system will not work 100% with punters and super ego gamers like my self :cooler:

Hence why paintball would be a better option to have as well although Id rather do airsoft due to it being more tactics and not running in with a red bandanna shouting this is sparta while firing away £200 worth of paintballs.
