i33 LAN Video

Hey guys,

Some of you may have seen my i30 and i31 videos which have proved to be very popular on YouTube, and now I have just finished my i33 video. I thought it would probably be a better idea to post in this forum rather than the i33 one because most people have migrated here, although I also got permission from Elbonio just to make sure.

I took lots of the advice from the i33 video planning (http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/showthread.php?t=57427) thread I created before i33, and am very pleased that all of the new aspects to the video worked out well (in my opinion)! There are obviously some parts of the event that I didn't get around to filming, but that's just the way it goes.

You can either view it on YouTube, or download it by clicking the better quality link in the "About this video" section. Also, by following this (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=w4Md4bUx4uM&fmt=18) link you should be provided with a better quality YouTube video, although I am not sure whether that needs more time to be available since I have only just uploaded it.

On another note, I hope you all enjoyed playing on the servers I was hosting for you all (Hide and Seek, Deathmatch, Dodgeball, Football). I included some in-game footage as well to remind you of the fun :D.

Yeah, I couldn't ignore the box'o'win, especially because you guys were always on the Hide and Seek server I was hosting. Oh, and all the popular servers I was hosting at i33 will of course be back at i34:

Great video. You get a lot in and really capture what is going on. (where was the pub quiz tho?)

3 things I would suggest to improve are...
-Adding a few more captions because unless you were there its not always obvious what is going on.
-The clips with the music would be better if the cuts were timed with the music, I know that is quite hard but it makes montages like that seem instantly a lot better and less random.
-Get some cooler looking people in the interviews and things because it would be nice to show the video to non laning people without them thinking it is quite so geeky. :)

Great points there Elkeeed, I agree with all of them. The main problem was that I didn't really have a huge amount of time to edit the i33 video, since I have a lot of work to be getting on with. Editing the i34 video however will be a completely different story, I will have acres of time to sync cuts to the music and add more captions :).

As for the people I interviewed, I did want more people to step forward, but when I asked in my i33 video planning (http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/showthread.php?t=57427) thread only those 2 people offered! I will definitely be asking Unique then closer to the date for an i34 interview :) (assuming you are going).

As for the pub quiz, I planned to go, but decided to relax instead and play Hide and Seek :D!
