BYO paint......*looks at the 20 boxes of paintballs laying spare*...i could set up a shop :P if you can bring your own paint I'm sure I could sort some out cheaply if required.

You're actually bragging about owning an Ion - the £150 plastic budget gun which is probably on the edge of becoming completely outdated due to being 2-3 years old now?

Also, A5 > ion in electronics, range, speed, etc - the only thing the ion beats the A5 on is cost and profile (it's very small). Again, these things are rather old. I haven't been playing paintball recently so I wouldn't know what you should get, but just don't brag about an Ion or any other gun you may have.

It's just as bad as the rest of the e-peen discussions on here.

I wouldnt go unless they do discounts....I work for a paintball site and i know how much they rip people off. The company i work for says on its website that it ''Guaranteed lowest prices'' But i'll tell you this for free

they buy a crate of paintbox's for £1000

They will make back £10,000

I understand the price of staff and the land (I am the assistant manager of the site i know were every penny goes)

but if the ''Guaranteed lowest prices'' are making them £9,000 a weekend. (thats right we'll easy sell a crate and a half of paint a weekend...in the winter and almost 3 crates in the summer)

then i would hate to think how much these guys are willing to rip us off knowing we all love to run around with guns.

If we can bring our own paint, then this would easily be fixed. £15-£25 is an average price for a box of paint (2000 paintballs) which I doubt others appart from regular players would use up quickly, if at all. Hopefully the site isn't doing usual rip-off prices or allows others to bring their own paint along.

Would be interested in what the markers being rented out are, since in the promo video I think I saw a 'Timmy marker being used along side some alright (albeit old) equipment tacked on.

Some more information on prices and equipment rental etc would be nice, unless it's included on the Stoneleigh Park website.

But am sure it would work if say it was 35 quid in and bring your own paint but it would be pointless for them if they just letting you bring your own paint and only made you pay about 10 quid to get in

Nothing's been announced yet so they may well do that, for all we know. :awesome:
